11.12.09-5 miles. Late at night and in the freezing cold, I found this pretty tough. I couldn’t actually see at points due to the lack of lighting, but did manage to include two steep hill climbs into my run. This is essential for the marathon.

6.12.09-8 miles. After more than a week off, I wasn’t quite sure how I would do. The aim was to run 5 miles but I somehow managed to push myself further, ending up doing 8 miles, which I was pretty chuffed with. Felt really good after, and no grief from the blister, which has completely healed now.

27.11.09-4.5 miles. Tried to slightly up my distance, but ended up getting a horrible blister so it was cut a bit short! Probably need a rest now to allow the blister to heal.

26.11.09- 4 miles. Just a mild jog to set me on my way. Bought some new trainers for the occassion and they did me well, although it started raining which wasn’t very pleasant.
